MakeASudoku.com has no accounts, no logins and no database. We store nothing about you or your puzzles on our servers.
A puzzle's starting numbers and title are packed into the web address after ?d=, which is how a share link works without an account. That address is seen by Cloudflare (which serves the site), by Google Analytics, and by your browser history. Don't put anything private in a puzzle title. Your answers and pencil marks are kept after the # in the address, which browsers never send to any server.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited, in aggregate. It uses cookies. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cloudflare runs the site. Google provides analytics, and Google Fonts serves the typefaces the site is set in. Each sees your IP address because your browser asks it for a file. Nothing else is loaded from anywhere else; the puzzle is made entirely in your browser.
